Poured at 50° there’s a lot of toasted malt & bourbon on the nose, with a sweetness slow to emerge. The palate is an excellent balance of sweet white chocolate & an even bitterness imparted by the walnuts. You get a good bit of bourbon as it continues to warm. It’s a solid development. Good viscosity; finishes malt-forward. Very tasty.
