I got a can of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. It poured a hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank stone fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with stone and apricot presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

 

16oz can into a pint glass. NO freshness dating other than a Carl Sagan quote and 2021.

Looks damn fine in the glass. Hazy thick orange juice colored body with a strong white head. This persists in good form throughout leaving scattered lacing.

Aroma of tropical fruit, some orange, quite hoppy.

On tasting, fruity, but less orange than the nose would suggest. Good hoppiness, very light bitterness, smooth drink.

Mouth closer to full than medium, finish a faintly sweet warm tropical fruit.

Overall, really good interpretation of the style. First beer from this brewery, hopefully not the last.

Poured from a 16 ounce can into a snifter.

Look- Medium gold, hazy, frothy white head, slightly above average head retention and lacing.

Smell- Peach, ripe melon, papaya.

Taste- Peach, papaya, clementine, pithy, slightly spicy.

Feel- Between medium and full body, average carbonation, slightly astringent, moderate bitterness.

Overall- A mix of tropical and earthy.

 

great combination of strata galaxy and azacca hops - give this beer a great hoppy taste

 

 

This is probably my favorite IPA TrimTab has ever brewed. Grassy on the nose with zesty citrus peel. The palate is predominantly sweet tropical fruit, with notes of fresh-squeezed orange juice, passion fruit, and candied grapefruit. So good.
