Bourbon, rum, and even tequila barrels are common in the craft BA scene. Tennessee sour mash, not as much. Chocolate Sauce went down the road less traveled and that dry, malt finish comes through. Chocolate is the clear dominate flavor with vanilla undertones. The flavors all blend together for a unique experience and a powdery finish.

Pre-release hookup. Hot cocoa mix on the nose, with a bit of that roasty malt base blooming once poured in the glass. The palate needed to warm, but lots of baking chocolate vibes and an earthy, toasty char imparted from the barrel. Very solid BA release.
