Black, medium-big pale brown head slowly shrinking.
Aroma is coffee, dried fig, dark toast.
Taste is dry coffee, figs, prunes. It is dryish, with minerally, light, zesty body, nice character, balanced. This is a nice English porter - lower ABV, lighter, but with character and well rounded. It's a highly drinkable porter that doesn't get boring.

My buddy brought me back a 22oz bomber from the brewery. Poured into a standard pint glass.
Pours dark brown to black with a brownish khaki 3 inch head, really nice retention and plenty of lacing coating my glass. Aroma is traditional English malt found in many London Porters and Brown Ales - sweet, roasty and biscuity with a noticable amount of dry hoping giving it some West Coast flare. A lot of what is found in the aroma carries over into the flavor as well - a nice balance of English malts and bright floral hops, with dark chocolate and coffee on the finish. The mouthfeel is a bit thin for the style - I just wish it had a bit more body to it and less dry, carbonation is mellow which works well with the style.
