poured from a growler from the brewery
nice dark, almost black color, off-white head that fades quickly. slightly roasty aroma, a bit of chocolate. taste is a bit off- has a bit of a yeasty taste. body is a bit thinner than would expect for a strong oatmeal stout. not bad, but could be improved.

Brown – closer to a brown ale than a stout. The flavors were pretty flat. The roasted notes were weak and the body was far too thin for the style. The finish actually had notes of slightly sour fruit which is odd for the style as well.
Not terrible but not good either.
