I thought this was pretty spectacular for a single-digit stout with no bells and whistles. Creamy, foamy, tasty, roasty, coffee-forward as hell but not overpoweringly so... this brew hits all the right notes without trying too hard. I made a black-and-tan with La Colombe nitro latte and it was divine.

16 oz can. Dated 1/17/18, so about two weeks old. This batch 6.5%abv.
Jet black, tan colored head that fades. Huge pleasant aroma of espresso - roasty and bitter cocoa. Big and bold for a normal strength stout. Not sweet nor dry, good balance. Medium bodied, mouthfeel is a touch oily.

A - Deep dark brown almost black color with a nice caramel colored thick creamy lacing.
S - Dark roasted chocolate aroma with a little bit of cream. Overall, nose is a little light but could be the serving temperature?
T - Dark roast chocolate from start to finish with nice, unobtrusive pine/citrus bitter in on the tail end to knock down the roasted chocolate sweetness on the from side. Very nice lingering bitter chocolate flavor coating the mouth.
M - Heavy medium body with a small amount of thin on the tail end. The mouth feel is pretty darn perfect for this beer.
O - Would buy this one again.

Coffee-brown with a thin off-white head, this stout looks like it could be a bit thin. However, the flavor has a nice bitter baker's chocolate aspect accompanied by a creamy mouthfeel. Redemption - I'm a fan of this one!
