Poured into a 16 oz Snulip glass canned on 4/29/20. Pours pitch black with a 3 finger sticky light brown head that leaves some thin wisps of lace as it slowly settles. 4.5
Smell cherry vanilla, chocolate, slightly woody, toffee, and a hint of booze, not over the top at all but present for me. 4
Taste follows cherry, chocolate, oaky vanilla, toffee, and a little alcohol lingers for a bit after each sip. 4
Mouthfeel is bigger than average, soft gentle carbonation, a touch dry, and at 11.1% it drinks maybe a little bigger, but still goes down easy enough. 4
Overall this is a really made imperial stout that I would gladly revisit if given the opportunity. Thanks Jeff @jzeilinger for this can my friend. 4
