This beer pours a nice golden color with a medium head and some lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet with a fairly strong hop bitterness on the finish. Taste is grains and hops. This is a well-balanced beer. Very drinkable. BOD 3-15-2022 have had in the fridge for a while. 78 IBUs Rated 5-10-2024

Clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the Affligem chalice. Fruity nose with a whiff of pine. Not as sweet as typical DIPAs but a good dose of malty flavor. A perky note of resins in the flavor and a touch of peach. Current version is dry hopped with Galaxy, Amarillo, and Citra.
Overall it's a very tasty DIPA like they used to make 'em. Quite drinkable, not overly strong, and a good balance of malt and hops. From the 16 oz can delivered from CloudBreaker.

Appearance is light golden with medium clarity and a soapy white head with medium retention
Aroma is hop forward, pine, resin and citrus with floral aromas as well. Medium low bready, cracker like malt aromas. No esters or off aromas
Taste is pine, resin, fruity-citrus and floral flavors with a subdued bready, cracker malt backbone. Finishes dry and is well attenuated
Medium full bodied with medium high carbonation and warmth from the alcohol but does not ruin the beer. Nice and crisp throughout the beer
I wish more IPA's were like this, but then again I'm a traditionalist and prefer piney, dank IPA's, and this beer is not only well made but satisfies my traditional palate

Pint at Big's Chicken. No head. Watery off the bat. Clear golden look. Lacking of character and complexity. Some bitterness/spice upfront. Finished OK, but disappointing . A lightweight IPA.

Had pint on tap at their tavern. Golden amber, almost no head. Aroma is earthy and herbal with some lemon and bread malt. Flavor is watery, kind of thick and chewey. Yeast, grass, and light malt. Some bitterness in the aftertaste, but rather piney and earthy. Not really well balanced. I would not recommend this beer, or drink it again.
