Quite cloudy and a darker shade of amber-like goop with modest foam in the chalice. Quite lively and prickly on the tongue, plus the usual acidic bite. Quite aromatic with mango and orange. Tastes of really decent orange juice with grapefruit peel. Some bitterness with an aftertaste of kumquats-- sweet, bitter, and sour at the same time.
This is actually better than average for the hazy side, and another prop for StormBreaker that they can make a drinkable strong NE-style brew. Hops are listed as Cascade, Columbus, Ella, and Strata, and double dry hopped with Mosaic and Amarillo. From the 16 oz can shipped from the brewery. Canned on 01 29 2021.
