Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a one finger white head that dissipates to a thick cap with light lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and piney hops, orange, grapefruit, light pine. Flavor is pale malt, piney and citrus hops, grapefruit, pine, lemon, hints of tropical fruit. Lingering, resinous pine and citrus pith finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A somewhat old fashioned tasting West Coast style IPA with a lighter malt body than the style developed into. Classic mixture of pine and citrus from the hops. Flavor starts out strong, kind of fades a little into the finish, which then unexpectedly lingers for a while. Nice lingering bitterness flavors. The malt's a bit light for my taste, but this shows promise and I'll try another IPA from these guys if I run across another non-hazy one.

Clear amber brew. This IPA has a broad mix of hops: Summit, Chinook, and Cascade, plus dry hopping with Azacca, Strata, and Cashmere. Fairly lush and mellow with that big dose of hops for serious aromatics. Flavors of citrus peel with a touch of pineapple. Resiny with that piney, bitterish finish.
Moderate lingering bitterness so you know it's an old school IPA. From the 16 oz can with date on bottom of 1432020, and if that's a Julian date would make it brewed on May 22 of this year. Which is plausible since it was shipped directly by the brewery.
