In celebration of Stormbreaker St. John’s third year anniversary, Stormbreaker brewed up this Belgian-style tripel. Cathreedral Park Tripel features robust fruit favor and aroma with hints of white pepper, rounded out by a soft body and boozy punch. Raise a pint to three years in St. Johns!

Can from Market of Choice. Thanks for the recommendation, Chris!

A clear orange with a dense off-white head with good retention and lacing this looks solid. The nose is lovely. The description mentions booze, but there's none of that. Soft, fruity, spicy, delicate yeast esters with pear, honey, grains of paradise, earth and a little rock. Lovely floral bouquet. The palate opens fruity, estery, peppery with pear, golden delicious apple, floral honey. The mid palate has a blend of hoppy bitterness, a slight alcohol bite and a little grainy bitterness, all appropriately so. A touch of sweetness amplifies the floral and honey notes. Carbonation is high but not as fine as a classic Belgian tripel, but it works with the slightly sweeter body. Excellent stuff.
