A "German Style Ale" that pours a handsome yellow amber in the chalice. Hops are listed as Hallertauer, Mittelfruh, and Perle. LIght aroma of straw and flowery hops. Thickish mouthfeel with plenty of spritz. Hop flavors are modest but there is a pleasant bitterish aftertaste with more grain in the nose. This is a pleasant, unassuming brew that lacks the crisp bite of others in the style. But quite drinkable with berry flavors along with the malt and a woody note.
