Export is inspired by the bold and often overlooked lagers of northern Germany: hearty beers that reflect the hard-working industrial nature of the region. Our mineral-rich water provides a crisp bite similar to the waters of Dortmund. With the full malt flavor of a Helles lager and the punchy hop character of a Czech pilsner, Export is a crisp, clean beer that’s the perfect reward for a hard day’s work.

This pours a clear gold color. Crisp and clean.
There's a grassy hop note with a hint of a floral character on this. Just a touch, and it carries across to the palate. Clean and easy sipper.

Pours a pleasingly classic crystal clear amber. Good carbonation with little to no head (possible this is related to me glass which was recently rinsed out and not dried properly).
Smell is muted, mildly sweet and again, clasically 'beery'.
Taste is wonderfully balanced. Mild malty sweetness that is capped off with a nice earthy bitter hop finish. A great balanced beer here.
Mouthfeel is the definition of session to me. Very crisp, very 'crushable' to all you youngsters. The pleasant sweetness is not overwhelmingly syrupy and is wiped clean by the lovely bitter finish. Certainly a beer that leaves you wanting another.
Not super familiar with the style (don't know if I've had any before this) but I assume that a SF brewery doesn't make the best example on earth of this euro style. This is a wonderful beer though. Super clean, super drinkable, remarkably well balanced.

Fantastic for the style. Aroma almost non existent but wonderful grainy, crisp biscuity goodness on the tastefeel. A little malt stickiness at the end. Another solid offering in the secound round of releases from Fort Point.
