Our IPA abounds with juicy notes of tropical fruit from both the late kettle and dry hop additions of Citra and Australian Galaxy hops. The malt bill establishes drinkability sure to please most hop heads.

I am trying a can of this beer at my bestie's house in Charlotte, NC. It poured a slightly hazy orangish with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had faint bitter hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base and bitter hop finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer .

Look: It pours amber with an off white head. Head retention is excellent.
Smell: There are tropical aromas to start off. There are secondary elements of caramel and bread. There is a slight floral note in the background.
Taste: There are tropical notes up front and are balanced with bread and caramel. There are some low floral elements. There are also some pine notes as well.
Feel: It has a medium body.
Overall, the hops are dominant but the malts are complimentary in support unlike a lot of IPAs.

Poured from a can into a shaker pint, the beer is a crystal clear, vibrant, copper coloring, with a low profile, clingy, white head. Aromas of grapefruit and orange sweetness, heavy wet grass dankness, and hints of roast. Flavors are dank and bitter forward, heavy on resinous pine pitch, with an unbalanced and overpowered follow of tropical fruit notes. The bitterness dominates, and intermittent roasted highlights tend to magnify the dominating vegetal hops characteristics. The body is bold and slick, with a solid dryness underneath. Bitter and heavy wet grass and pine resin aftertaste. The finish is slick, dry, and bitter, with a subtle astringency.

All 5's on this one! You can smell the Citra Hops when pouring. Very different flavor but smooth as silk! Definitely a good balance of malts and hops. Really like the taste of this beer. Hope I will be able to find it once I return to Florida!!

I wasn't chewing on this IPA like I sometimes do on hoppy beers. It was a good flavor but nothing over the top fantastic. It was slightly better than average. I like what Bombshell is doing, though.

Came in a standard pint a slight hazed bronze color with a thinner but sticky slight off white head atop.Citrus and pine resin galore here I really like the aggressive hoppy nose.I found it more bitter on the palate than tropical,a nice dry bitter finish makes me think of old school IPA's,only mild biscuit sweetness underneath. It has some citric and tropical elements but for me the bitter finish wins the day.Well done.

This is the full bore IPA from local girls Bombshell. Amber color with wet tan head. Well balanced nose, which allows the citrus to stay in the spotlight, but is ably supported by bread and biscuit notes in a strong supporting role. For the record, my can says 6.8% abv and 74 ibus.
Balance is again key in the taste. Dry and compact with resinous oily finish. Pine and citrus share the honors. A bit withering in the aftertaste and pressed by warming alcohol but that is the game we're playing. Not a great IPA but certainly a good one.

Enjoyed nice and fresh at the brewery. This is a well-made IPA with just the right amount of hoppy-citrus goodness and malt backbone to produce a drinkability lacking in others of this style. Well-done Bombshell!

A: Pours a clear copper-ish amber in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate golden yellow + burnt orange highlights. The beer has a finger tall foamy light tan head that reduces to a large patch of thin film covering the entire surface of the beer with a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of citrus/grapefruit and tropical/mango hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of caramel + bready malts. Hints of herbal hops towards the finish.
T: Upfront there is a light to moderate flavor of bready + caramel malts with a light amount of sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of citrus/grapefruit and tropical/mango hops as well as some lighter flavors of herbal hops. The hops contribute a light to moderate amount of slightly aggressive bitterness which lingers for a while.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Hints of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink and enjoyable with a nice hop presence. Probably my favorite beer from this brewery.
