On-tap at the source itself in Pomona. On to the beer:

Pale or dark? This mild ale has a light orange color, but no head to speak of within a minute of the pour. Needless to say, head retention is poor and lacing is nil. The aroma offers hope, starting with a white grape note and hints of toasted grain. Certainly a fruitier aroma than I was expecting per style. The taste doesn't quite say traditional mild, however the flavor itself is pleasant. Fruity, white grapes, toasty, butterscotch notes make their marks. Moderately "yeasty", like a Belgian ale, but isn't. The beer's texture is the mark, being light and quick in the mouth.

Per style guidelines, it's not easy to pick which one this could go under, As it stands, it's a modest ale.
