Pours straight black with very little lacing.
Smells like fresh coffee with some light choclate notes.
Tastes way better than it smells. Lots of coffee up front. Not a lot of carbonation.
Probably my favorite beer from Sanctum. Can't wait to try the barrel aged version.

Pours opaque black. The 1/4 inch tan head quickly disappears completely and leaves very faint spots of lace.
The smell is of spent coffee grounds, dark chocolate, vanilla and a hint of booze.
The taste is of bitter black coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malt and a hint of sweet vanilla.
The texture is thick with low carbonation.
Solid coffee aroma and flavor combine with roasted dark malt and cocoa with a hint of vanilla. An impressive coffee stout.
