Described as a Belgian ale aged in Chardonnay barrels with wild yeast (Brettanomyces Brux and Drei).
Pours a murky yellow with a foamy beige head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour with tropical fruit, white wine, butter, Brett, funk, earth, wood, and acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour butter, white wine, wood, fruit, earth, Brett, and funk flavors on the finish. There is a very mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is fairly subtle for a Brett beer and has a lot of butter in both the smell and taste.
Serving type: bottle.
