A great find in nearby Camarillo. More beers available than can be sampled in one visit so guess who needs to make another (several) more trips here. Pizzas and pretzels available to accompany the beers. We split a margherita pizza - very well done. Thin crust, fresh cherry tomatoes and basil on top - not filling, but just enough to soak up the beer. Tried two 8 ouncers on this first visit - the Reverie Rye (hoppy and grapefruity) and the Frantic on Nitro (the latter being phenomenal). Really enjoyed the experimentation that was evident from the "on tap" descriptions. Leaving through the front door (we came in through a side opening), noticed the brewery swag - entered into a conversation with the lady up front, and finally got the connection of the name of the brewery, names of some of the beers and the local "institution" - yes, pun intended. Kudos for connecting the dots on local history.

This is the perfect microbrewery tasting room. Hard to find in an industrial complex but worth it. So worth it. Of course they are moving next week to a location closer to 101. I'll have to come back later to judge the effects of the move.

Fell in love with Sedation. Purchased a stainless steel Growler to fill up with Sedation on the go. Pretty cozy place. Preferably wished it was a little bigger. First visit there, we stood until seats were available. But great service and good beer.

BEST STOUT I'VE EVER HAD! No kidding. It was incredible. Not a lot to choose from, but I always prefer quality over quantity anyway.

My wife and I stopped in here on a trip to the area. It's a fairly small spot with a tasting room up front and the brewing equipment in the back. There is a small bar with some stools along with some tables and booths/chairs around the perimeter of the tasting room. There is also a TV on the wall that was showing baseball. They had 8 beers on tap and a cask which ran out before we got there. One of the beers (Frantic) was served on CO2 and nitro, which was an interesting way to compare the serving styles. There was a pretty good variety of styles represented, including 2 session beers which was nice. Service from multiple staff members was great with them offering free pretzels and bottles of water for palate cleansers. Prices were reasonable with tasters running around $2.00 to $2.50 each, pints around $5.00 each, and growler fills around $14.00 each. They offered normal glass growlers for $5.00 or a stainless steel one for $20.00. Overall, this is a nice spot with a cozy tasting room and beers that surpassed my expectations for the most part. It's definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.
