From a crowler...
Nice looking cherrywood color..good clarity...aroma is unremarkable.....light floral notes...maybe a little toffee
Flavor is subdued as well...leans malty but just not a lot of flavor really....would have guessed this as an APA...body is thin for the style..some soft floral characteristics from the hops but not much else.
Was expected a bit more vibrance from this. Not impressed. Nothing off just not impressed with the final product for an IPA.

Had on tap at the Longfellow Grill. L: It arrives with a full fill – 1/4 “ from the rim with a thin white foam film and ice cold. It is hazy tea colored amber with a slight orange tint. S: Some lioght dank with tropical fruit, light floral, light malt and spice. T: There is a real herbal spiciness up front with tropical fruit, traces of malt and even a little root beer in the background. It’s a rooty kind of spice. The bitterness is medium, the maltiness is medium and there is a balance between the hop and malt. It has a lingering bitter, hoppy aftertastes lightly seasoned with malt. F: Medium body with medium to medium high carbonation. O: A big, well crafted American IPA.
