Had on tap at the brewery L: Very bright dark brown with a 1” tan foam cap that slowly dissipates.
S: Dark sugar aromas wrapped around dark dried fruit, vanilla, alcohol.
T: Dark sugars to treacle, alcohol, dark dried fruit, very mild bitter balance.
F: Very creamy and smooth, medium full body with very fine soft carbonation.
O: An outstanding, well balanced barley wine.

The 2015 Barleywine was better than the 2014. It poured a nice deep caramel with not head and no lace. The scent was a perfect balance for caramel and brandy. The taste was much smoother than the 2014 and the the sweetness and brandy balance was very nice. The mouthfeel was fuller in body with little carbonation. Overall....very nice!
