Poolside Blonde has a light maltiness provided by the Pilsner and Vienna malts. Light straw in color, it has a moderately bitter finish. A true palate cleansing ale.

I had this beer on-tap in an oversized shaker pint at Nine Cities Draft in the Palm Springs airport.
Appearance: light golden hue with a light dash of haze and a thin layer of ivory foam atop.
Smell: malt is light and crackery, and there’s a light yeast component too. Not a ton going on, but not bad for the style.
Taste: lightly bready, crackery malt, with just a bit of yeast character. Not too bad.
Mouthfeel: medium light body with a decent carbonation and okay creaminess.
Overall: a pretty tasty and drinkable blonde ale.

I tried this at the LaQuinta resort. It poured a clear golden with white head that did not leave any lace. The scent had grain. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's an ok beer.

Served at the Taproom in a Nonic style pint glass. Weak head that disappeared too quickly. Mild yellow in color. Fairly average Blonde with little in taste to distinguish it, but I'm sure on a hot day in the desert a cold one is mighty refreshing!

Pours a hazy orange with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of grain, grass, and hay aromas. Taste is much the same with corn flake, grass, and earth flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty, light, and easy to drink.

Bready, Honey, Crisp, Creamy
Poolside drops out of the pounder can bright, pale straw with an impressive foam head. Fairly clean aroma of wet grains and faint DMS (dimethyl sulfide; creamed corn). Soft, clean, bready malts with a hint of honey stand out. Crisp carbonation, creamy palate. Slightly bitter with a citrus rind snap and herbal back, it finishes dry with an herbal hops linger. The use of Pilsner and Vienna malts and a clean, light bitterness make this Pilsner-esque and easy to drink.
