Sampled at the Old Town LaQuinta Taproom. Poured from the tap into a 5 ounce glass as part of a flight. Decent off white head, with some lacing. The body of the beer is reddish in color. According to the brewer this Red IPA is made with Crystal and Munich malts, and Citra, Simcoe and Centennial Hops, and I believe it. Very well balanced between the malts and the hops, with some fruit evident but a smooth mildly bitter (80 IBUs) finish that masks the 7.0 abv. Definitely a winner.
