Named after former Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak. This beer arrives a clear gold color. The head is an inch of sturdy foam that lasts awhile, but leaves no lacing. The aroma is clean with grass, baking bread, and a light amount of maple syrup. The taste is much the same, but with the maple a bit more subdued. The finish is appropriately sweet, but refrains from being cloying. The mouthfeel is full bodied, and chewy. Carbonation is moderate. Overall, I was very skeptical of a Maibock brewed with 50lbs of maple syrup on a 10 barrel system, but the maple character turned out much more mild than I had feared. Where it's at it adds a nice twist to a tradintional style while staying true to it. I appriceaite that kind of brewing.
