This was the first ever beer I tried from this little known brewery on the Isle of Lewis (Scotland). I was not disapointed.
The beer poured a dark amber colour with a cream head, although the head didn't last the duration of the pint sadly.
The aromas are malty and hoppy with a hint of fruit. This continues through to the taste, a good mixture of hops but also a nice suttle hint of fruit to give it that little bit extra flavour.
It swirls round the mouth very well, with a nice drinkable beer with plenty of body.
As for drinkability, it became my regular 4 years ago and I haven't changed it since.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
