SHIPA Hüll Melon

Pours a slightly cloudy deep, dark amber coloration with a medium, creamy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and floral hops, with notes of honeydew melon and peach. Taste follows the nose, with some light biscuity malt and hoppy notes of honeydew melon, peach and just a hint of grapefruit and strawberry, as well as a mild dankness that turns quite bitter in the aftertaste. Finishes with a medium/strong bitterness and a little more strawberry coming through in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

This single-hop IPA showcases Hüll Melon well, with honeydew, peach and strawberry all making an appearance, as well as some light citrus notes, although it's perhaps a little too bitter for it's own good.
