Huge white head, amber yellow color.
Fruity aromas of grapefruit and lime, along with a lovely floral nose.
Fruity beginning soon gets overwhelmed by an aggressive bitter hoppiness. Malt seems, at first glance, to be able to give the beer a warming bready balance, but gets soon overpowered by a bitter, refreshing wave of hops. Unusual for a german "IPA", as they often tend to be too concerned about balance and therefore end up a little too sweet, this one breaks the habit and is a hop hard-liner. Malt still underlines the hops, giving the beer a nice complexity, without loosing its focus. Very refreshing and chewy, high carbonation adds a fitting metallic hint to the overall fruity, bitter character of the beer.
