Yields a filtered, copper-amber color, accentuated by an orange glow, with a dense white head.
Smells of ripe kiwi, accompanied by lemon zest and a grassy touch, which builds the omnipresent, complex hop presence on the nose. A cakey malt presence exhibits a convincing, balancing sweetness, adding an utmost juicy aspect to the hops.
Has a medium carbonation, while showcasing an utmost dry hop appearance, which turns sweet at the very end. Both, hops and malts, are very intense in their appearance, creating a medium bodied beer, which is refreshing, while it doesn't drink as easy as other IPAs.
From the very beginning the hops are present, revealing a huge amount of blood orange zest, unripe orange and luscious lime, balanced by soft, bready malts, which turn only as strong as required, leaving the focus completely on the hops, while adding a subtle toffee note. While malts turn more present, supported by a bubbly carbonation, the hops not only develop a fruit quality among its initial herbal presence, but turn unusually soon very dry. Finishes with kiwi coming up again, adding a prickly quality to the utmost dry but slick, lemony hops, which get accompanied by cakey malts during the very end, when you would expect the beer to be finished normally.
A heavily hopped ale, which creates a fantastic grapefruit taste, leaving the palate with a long lasting dry aftertaste, which gets lended a pleasant amount of toffee sweetness, adding to the hops.
