Hazy orange color with fluffy off-white head. Aroma is really hoppy with melon, white grapes and apricot notes. Taste starts hoppy as well but not as fruity as the aroma. It's more herbal and grassy with a good amount of bitterness on the finish but also a bit of alcohol. Medium with low carbonation. It's quite good but not as good as the others from the SHIPA series.

Edit: reduced the score a bit on second tasting.
33cl bottle poured in a small 33cl stein.
5 months before sell-by date.
What's interesting about this series of beers is that only one hop is used - in this case Hallertau blanc. Great for learning what the individual hops taste like.
Amber beer, smallish head in spite of a relatively brisk pour. Beer still has fairly high carbonation.
Lacing.
I have never seen so much sediment in a beer... Looks almost jelly-like the way it wobbles suspended in the beer. The base of the glass looks like the sea-floor through an orange filter.
Smell: tangy bitter grapefruit flesh and crushed peel; a little of musky wild animal.
Taste: follows smell - tastes like the smell of crushed grapefruit with peel (rather than the actual taste of it). Nice bitter finish with the hops taste again. They do taste great, but I cant help wondering if the beer would be better with more ingredients.
Very drinkable, and tasty.
