Pours a hazy, pale orange coloration with a small, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and tropical/citrus hops, with notes of passion fruit, pineapple and grapefruit. Taste is an excellent balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy hops, with tropical and lighter citrus notes of passion fruit, pineapple, mango and grapefruit. Finishes with a very light bitterness and some passion fruit and pineapple lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a light/medium body and medium carbonation.
Another very impressive non-alcoholic IPA from Kehrwieder. While their ü.NN is more West Coast in style, this is clearly more in line with a New England IPA, being quite hazy and juicy, with incredible tropical hop notes for a NA beer and a good body and mouthfeel as well. Just like with their ü.NN, this kinda makes you reach for the label to double-check that it's really non-alcoholic, which is something that I've never really felt the need to with any other NA beer. There really isn't that much of a difference between this and a Sesssion IPA.
