Poured into a glass from a 330ml bottle.
Look: A pleasing milk-chocolate colour. The head of foam is beautifully fine, like espresso crema, unfortunately it dissipates very quickly.
Smell: Pleasantly classic, strong roasted malt aroma. Faint notes of coffee. Not much else.
Taste/Feel: Again, strong roasted malt flavour, without much more to flesh it out. Medium-bodied.
Overall: A very pleasant beer, without much to set it apart. Should appeal to those looking for a classic brown ale profile.

Cerveza marrón con una cabeza espumosa de buena retención. Cuerpo y carbonatación media. Aroma tostado y frutos secos. En boca es dulce pero sin llegar a ser empalagosa. Destacan la malta y el cacao en su sabor.

Had this in Barcelona. One of my favorite Brown Ales. Very much like a porter, but a bit thinner in a good way. Best craft beer I had in Spain. Good drinking.

On tap at AllTech Beer fest, 2018.
Chestnut; ton of caramel; brown sugar and toast, lots of carob + hazelnut, and more chocolate to end.

Nose overpromises. Thin for 7%, too. But a nice big whack of Mars bar.

One of a beer style unaware of a brewery that had not tasted and bought in a store of offers which nobody bought. Well, surprise! I like it. I do not understand is that a good beer aun much like Belgian style differs so much. It must be the water or perhaps the need of sticky!

From Corte Ingles El Duque. In Teku glass. Playing Grim Fandango Remastered. Decent. Nothing specially remarkable but pleasant to drink. Some roastyness, some caramel and some bitterness well balanced

Medium brown color with tan head. Aroma has nice caramel and nuts. Taste starts balanced with some caramel malts, continues with a nice nuttiness and finishes dry and hoppy with a good amount of earthy bitterness. Medium body with smooth mouthfeel. Quite tasty with well hidden ABV.

Pours a hazy cherry colour, with a medium offwhite head that holds for a good while. Creamy lace. Aroma is smoky, with chocolate, coffee, dark fruits. Medium body, sticky palate and good carbonation. Taste is smokey too, with chocolate, coffee, dark fruits, caramel. Really good.

Barcelona Beer Company "La Niña Barbuda"
33 cl brown glass bottle, coded "LOT: 125 10/2016"
American brown ale. Hoppy & citrusy. Caramelish, nutty, chocolatey, fudge-like. Strong alcohol at 7.0%, but it doesn't show. Firm bitterness and dry finish with some residual dark caramel and chocolate. Really quite drinkable. They actually truck in spring water from the Font del Regas (Montseny Natural Reserve) which may make a difference as it doesn't have any of the dark malt acidity that some brown ales have. Very nicely rounded and polished.
