Stopped in on our way through SC to Georgia, and this was a great stop. Located just a short way off of I-20, the place has a great feel indoors, with a good balance of dark wood and some industrial, with an awesome patio overlooking the river. Dog friendly for outdoor seating, which always ranks high with our family. They have an awesome beer list, with a ton of taps and bottle offerings, as well as four rotating house beers. Small bar area inside, with additional dining room seating past that, looking into a semi-open kitchen. The food was solid, with sandwiches, salads, and some entrees. Gastropub offerings. The staff was very attentive and friendly. This is definitely worth a stop if you find yourself in the Columbia, SC metro area for anything.

I am a frequent visitor here. They have an excellent selection of beers, which include many bottled and draft selections. They have recently begun brewing their own beers which are not to bad but seem to be a little flat. The Old Mill is a great location this type of establishment which features the old brick and mortar walls used in the original mill. There is a nice porch overlooking the pond which is great during the summer months. The atmosphere seems to lack just a bit but I can't quite put my finger on why. The bartenders are lively and knowledgeable. They have some music playing from time to time and have live entertainment many nights of the week featuring local acts. Overall this is a great place to grab a beer and meal.
