Review from notes. Served cold into a pint glass.
Appearance - Semi-hazy golden amber brew with a finger plus of quickly receding head.
Smell - Leafy hops mostly that have faded a bit. Some earthy undertones and just a faint hit of citrus being orange and lemon.
Taste - Lots of leafiness, just a bit of citrus, hops are a touch faded. Medium bitterness, that could use just a slightly different level of bitterness to close to make it more interesting.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, highly expressive carbonation, maybe even too much so. Nonetheless easy to drink as the bubbles percolate across your tongue.
Overall - A decent wet hop ale, but nothing that really stands out in a competitive market. Worth a try for the tick or if you're a huge lover of the wet hop pale ales otherwise this cascader invader isn't a high priority.

Can - decants a hazed gold amber with a 1 finger white cap....aroma is a soft musty, funky, woodsey with sub tones of toasted grains, very unusual but pleasant aroma...like dry hopped Hallertauer Mittelfrueh...delightful to my liking....flavor is very similar with lots of hoping but low bittering, decent malt spine...long smooth balanced finish with herbal-woody hopping going slightly bitter and a rich toasty character.... I don't know if the brewers intended this but this brew but these locally grown wet hops produce a very pleasant German noble demeanor...and that suits me because I love the cask aged German styles....2 thumbs up on this effort...one for the hop variety, one for the grain bill - they click just fine
