Hazy and veiled brown color with a copper hue and no visible activity. Creamy and frothy dark beige 3 finger head, lasting around 10-15 minutes, with strong legs. Flavors of brown sugar, caramel, dark berries, barley, rye, clove, and herbal hops. Slick and smooth medium body with moderate carbonation. Medium strength finish, some red ale spices, slightly roasted and earthy with leafy hops. Good freshness with some nice bitterness. Overall good quality craft.

L- Pours a hazy amber, topped by a healthy 2 finger off-white head. Average retention and thick lacing.
S- A healthy mix of sweet malt and floral hops.
T- Same as aroma. The hops definitely take centre stage, but the malt is a big part of the taste.
F- Medium body with low-moderate carbonation. Seems to be appropriate for the style!
O- Maybe not a traditionally flavoured California Steam Ale, but a good one nonetheless! Certainly geared towards todays beer lover with the dominate hop flavours.
