12oz bottle pours a pale yellow color with a considerable amount of fizzy white-colored head that disappears fairly quickly. Smells of bready malts and pretty strongly of noble hops. Light, crisp, crackery malt profile with a hint of honey and a very notable grassy-herbal-spicy hop flavor. Very subtle sweetness, very little bitterness, light body, and a bubbly carbonation mouthfeel with a crisp finish and an herbal hop aftertaste.
This was a very solid Kölsch, and another good beer from KC Bier. Pretty refreshing and satisfying, may consider buying again.

I’ll admit to being a bit biased, as KC Bier Co is one of my favorite breweries here in Missouri, but i find the Kolsch to be pretty spot-on. It’s crisp and refreshing with just the right bite and a touch of sweetness on the finish, as a good Kolsch should be. Definitely recommended if you’re in the neighborhood.

Appearance: Pours a medium-bodied, pale color with a mild white head. SRM of 7. (3.75)
Aroma: Mild aromas of pale malts, light fruit, yeast with a dry bread on the finish. Slightly dank and herbal. (3.25)
Flavor: Mild flavors of pale malts, light fruit, some earthy, dank cannabis and herbs underneath. Yeast. (3.50)
Feel: Medium-bodied. Moderate carbonation. Finishes relatively dry. (3.50)
Compared to 2nd Shift Kolsch 8/20/22: Pours similar, milder aromas. More pale malts, herbs. Less fruity yeast. Milder bodied and less carbonation.
Compared to New Glarus Kid Kolsch 8/20/22: Pours similar. Milder aromas. More herbs. Less fruity yeast, bread malts. Dryer and less carbonation.
Overall: An okay Kolsch-style here. Not sure on the age on this one. Slightly herbal and cannabis notes. Wonder if it's light-struck, but it's not really skunky though. Not much fruit or yeast. It's okay, but probably not one I'd pick up again. (Rating: 3.46)

Poured a bright, clear golden color with a fluffy, white head of foam. It smelled of caramel, grains and floral notes. It tasted sweet with caramel and a light grassy bitterness.
