an impossibly mild version of the style here on all counts. the acidity is quite moderate, the saltiness is minimal for sure, and its not particularly herbaceous or fragrant, but it comes together super well, and is one of the most drinkable versions of the style i have had all summer, i mean, like by the bucket kind of beer, which is uncommon for a sour style. looks the part, hazy and light, with a tall white head. they were smart with this one though, keeping it rather delicate, its a patio pounder, which is a nice alternative to some of the others they have out there. a nice mineral profile, fresh white wheat, a soft earthy quality, insanely fresh, majorly clean bacterial tang, but not much more than that on the sour end, still very german and somehow more traditional seeming than most of these that are out there in the craft world right now. wonderful overall quality on this one, but those who like them super sour will find this less than fully satisfying. right in the wheelhouse for me! appreciate the low alcohol too!

Poured a slightly hazy, orange color with a small, thin head of foam. It smelled of wheat, lemon and a general tartness. Tasted tart, slightly salty with lemon and mild wheat flavors.
