Received in a trade with Harrison8. Thank you, Harrison!
Poured most of it from a 12oz bottle into a 25cl glass (poured the rest later once it warmed). Pours a bright amber color almost completely clear just the slightest, most minuscule hint of haze. Sweet malty aroma, notes of toasted bread, nuts and raisins. Really complex flavors, lots of raisins/dark fruits, a bit of toffee/caramelized sugar, hint of warming alcohol but it is extremely subtle. Overall, dangerously drinkable for a 10% abv bock. Really well made. I don't think I'd consider this a maibock, more closer to a dopplebock or an eisbock but regardless it is a great beer to sip on any time of year.

Pours a translucent amber with two fingers of dense khaki foam. Head retention is good. Aroma is nutty, caramely, bready sweet malts with a little residual sugar and dark fruits behind. Flavor profile follows suit, hitting notes of nutty, caramely, bready malts with residual sugar, a little spicy yeast ester and dark fruits. It's remarkably simple and clean for the high ABV. Mouth feel is just a touch fuzzy and soft, with a medium-thick consistency. Overall, a very easy drinking, high ABV maibock. Drinks a little like a fuzzy Belgian Quad. Delicious.
