Clear deep golden color with a substantial foamy white head and some nice lacing.
The aroma is fresh sourdough bread, caramel, toffee.
The taste is mildly sweet fresh bread, honey, caramel, toffee And green grapes. The finish is dry with herbal hops and a hint of citrus.
The body is medium, lively carbonation, very smooth and nicely drinkable.
Altogether this is a tasty, malty and decently refreshing brew, should go well with most food, particularly spicy varieties.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, white head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy lace on the glass. It smelled of floral notes, caramel, toffee and bready malt. Sweet caramel maltiness with toffee and a mild bitterness.

L: deep golden yellow poured into a tulip glass from bottle purchased at the brewery
S: boozy sweet malt/grain
T: alcohol is noticeable up front but a decidedly sweet almost honeyed grain taste like honey wheat bread gives way to a balanced herbal hop finish.
F: syrupy, thick mouth feel, that warms on the way down.
O: solid interpretation of style, smooth despite being boozy. Sweet but balanced, if you like bocks give it a try.

Pours a golden-copper with a hint of fog and frost to the transparency. Head is two fingers of dense off-white foam. Aroma is apples, herbal, and grassy hops and bready, caramely, earthy malts. Bits and pieces of toffee and candied sugars add a little sweetness. Flavor profile is apples, candied sugar, toffee, caramel, along with grassy, herbal, citrus (light) hops and bready, pale, earthy malts. Flavors come along smoothly, transitioning from one to the other effortlessly, shaping a dynamic flavor profile. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a smooth texture that has just a touch of effervescent bite on the front end before smoothing out. Overall, big time smoothness meets subtle sweetness for a pleasurably sipable heavy lager.
