Collaboration with Martha Stoumen Wines.
Other People is a beer brewed with some grapes that Bryan and Pete foot-stomped. At the earnest direction of their new friend, supernatural anti-interventionist winemaker Martha Stoumen. In 2019. Sonoma county Negroamaro and Sugar Creek barley. Fermented naturally with native grape yeast. Zero intervention. Pink funk.

Released 12/20/19; drank 1/5/20 @ the Yarchives.
Not sour, but with a pleasant funk and a nice dry grape flavor. This was a pleasant surprise; it's rare that a wild ale makes me want to drink about a gallon, but this one did the trick. Hope I can get some more!

Interesting “coferment” hybrid wine/beer concept. It falls a little short though, lacking any barrel character that would certainly enhance it.
Bright pale gold, very faint color, sparkling sudsy foam, spotty lacing.
Aroma of yeast, grapes, a slight earthiness, not a lot of depth.
Taste is tart apple, green grape skin, toasted popcorn kernels.
Aftertaste is a little doughy and weird from the wild yeast.
Tartness is pleasantly crisp and it’s lightly effervescent.
Overall it’s fairly simple and straightforward, needs some barrel time.
