The pineapple smell is the best thing about this beer. Taste is watery at first and then bitter grapefruit. Mouthfeel is likewise watery and weak.
Not the worst ipa by any means. It's not trying too hard to be something exotic, but maybe it should try a little harder.

The pineapple aroma that you get when your first crack open the can is crazy. Very unique. Definitely more pineapple in the aroma than in the overall flavor itself, but overall this still is a great crushable summer beer. I'd heard about the unique pineapple characteristics of Vic Secret hops and was looking for something that featured them, and the folks at Binny's pointed this one out for me. When I went back for more a few days later they were sold out, and I got an earful from the Binnys' guys about their frustration at not being able to get more of this one as the demand was higher than expected. Suspect this will be one of those really sought after beers for a while.

Super IPA. A session IPA that will be perfect for drinking on the deck this supper. A lighter IPA.

I am as novice as it gets here, as far as writing reviews. Been into good beers for a long time, based in Chicago for 20 years. This is currently the best beer on the planet, in my humble opinion. amazingly refined taste profile; it is the answer to even the best traditional modern IPAs.
