This was an excellent wild ale from Middle Brow, served from a 500mL bottle on the patio in plastic cups.
Light golden orange, slightly hazed from the yeast sediment being kicked up by the carbonation. Thin layer of foam and spotty lacing.
Oak and fruit in the aroma, unique kumquat character and some acidity present. Taste is lightly tart and juicy, with a dry finish and lingering oaky aftertaste. Medium bodied with effervescent carbonation. Works really well with food. Overall this one was great, and I hope they use Maya as their wild base beer from now on.
