Presentation: 12 oz. can with no dates. Served in a Samuel Adams pint glass.
Appearance: The two finger head stays around for a while and leaves some bubbly lacing in patches all over the glass. It's a murky, light brownish gold with a slight pink tint.
Smell: It's a very pleasant aroma of grapefruit and orange with an earthy pine note in the background.
Taste: It's fruity and slightly bitter with grapefruit peel, orange peel, tamarind and some dank hops.
Mouthfeel: It's medium bodied, and heavier than expected for what's supposed to be a session beer. There's some slight creaminess and low carbonation.
Overall: The color is unusual for your typical IPA, but the scent and taste are good enough to carry this beer even though it doesn't particularly shine in the looks or texture departments. It's a good beer but there's nothing groundbreaking going on here.

Some sour fans might go for it but it was either a bad batch which never should have been sold, or is sorely misrepresented on the can description. Got a sixpack and after the third drainpour in a row, gave up on it being a one off bad can.
