Chehalem Valley Brewing Co.

I visited Chehalem Valley while tooling around the Portland area last weekend. When I was there, they had 14 beers on tap plus a couple of ciders; mostly their offerings were pretty standard styles, with a number of IPAs and even two blonde ales.
I had a taster flight and the beers ranged from okay to perhaps-not-my-favorite. To be fair, I didn't try everything they had to offer, but for the most part what they did offer is not likely to tempt me back.

Taproom good sized with a nice wood bar and a tented outdoor area. Concrete floors and cinderblocks but welcoming. TVs up on the wall with sports stuff. Lots of regulars around, which is always fun. Bartender seemed new but was nice and relatively efficient. They have a full kitchen, but I didn't take advantage.

Place is back off 99.. through what seems like a car lot. Took me a while to find my bearings!
Nice open olace..doors open in a unseasonably warm October day..nice furnishing. Long wooden bar and a nice outside patio area.
13 beers on tap..service was friendly..not very busy..Had a kitchen and menu looked nice

An odd place - found in the back of a parking lot, vibe is hard to describe: like a standard average airy pub/restaurant. Not very interesting or creative. Tried three of their beers - three different IPAs - all were fine and balanced but nothing special. Kind of like the place itself. Even though their beers were decent there are too many interesting places to drink beer in the area I wouldn't return here.
