Copenhagen 17/11 2019. 33 cl can from Mikkeller Web-shop. Neat drawing of a City-scape on the can. With a little wishful thinking it could be Stockholm.
Pours unclear pale yellow with a medium-sized white head. Pretty stable and fluffy. Settles as 1,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. A bit frothy and clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense and of sweet malts and fresh grass. Bread, sweet malts and grains. Citrus and fresh grass intermingling. Dry hoppy presence.
Medium carbonation. Thin, watery, lively texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Decently bitter, fine modern hints of citrus fruit and dry finish. Not much more to wish for in a Lunch beer.
