I enjoyed a pint of this beer in the Pot Still, Hope St, Glasgow, I had never heard of it before but the name and pump clip made me determined to try it.
The beer poured a golden colour with a slight haze and an initial 3mm head. However this had poor retention and had disappeared by the time I had drank about a third of my pint.
The smell was dominated by fresh hops (German according to the clip) with wheat followed by a sharp citrus nose. Very pleasant and refreshing nose.
This hop theme continued through to the clean refreshing and slightly sweet taste, an ideal summer beer. This had an aftertaste of light berries and citrus fruits. A light to medium mouthfeel gave this an appropriate body given it was a summer beer, I enjoyed one and myself and my mate drank the same beer in the same pub for the remainder of the evening.
A truly excellent summer beer, very drinkable and a million percent better than being forced to drink lager. If you can find it, give it a try.
