Dark orange color with a bit of off-white foam that goes away instantly. Aroma has sweet malt, honey, sugar and some resiny wood on top. Taste is not as sweet as expected, actually it's quite dry and astringent. I mostly get the wood notes, resin and a slightly bitter finish. Medium body with low carbonation. Overall it's not a very complex beer, you mostly get the woody flavors but then again, the name means "Woodbeer" so maybe that was the intention.
