Copenhagen 12/8 2022. 66 cl bottle from Mikkeller & Friends Bottle Shop, Torvehallerne, Kbh. K. Label in Basqueland’s Barrel Works brand design in a blue version.
Pours opaque dark brown with a big dark beige head. Stable. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, roasted, malty odor mingling dark sweet alcohol. Dark roasted malts, plums, vanilla, oak, brandy.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, soft, viscous, creamy, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a heavy sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and boozy. Lingering. Finish is smooth, sugary and lightly searing.
Potent, pleasant and woody.

66 cl bottle at Las Buenas Pulgas, served in a standard glass. Black color, small head with short retention, average lacing. Aroma of wine, chocolate, raisins, licorice, roasted malts, wood. Medium to full body, sticky texture, average carbonation. Sweet finish. Taste follows the aroma. Exceptional. Surely it will be better in some years.

De Labirratorium. En copa Mahou Barrica. Estudiando y Jugando a Larry Wet. Con palomitas. El alcohol se sube mucho a la cabeza. En boca se presenta agradable, tirando la dulce mucho más que a la madera pero estando está siempre presente de manera comedida. Ok pero no para tirar ccohetes
