Copenhagen 9/9 2022. 66 cl capped and waxed bottle from Mikkeller & Friends Bottle Shop, Torvehallerne, Kbh. K. Simple purple label with Basqueland’s logo in gold. The usual Barrel Works design.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized light beige head. Stable. Settles as uneven layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, sugary, dark and malty odor mingling with sweet alcohol. Dark, roasted malts, toffee, brown sugar. Bourbon giving a sweet boozy undertone.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, viscous, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a heavy sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a whiff of Bourbon. Lingering. Finish is boozy and dry.
Another solid and sweet, monumental boozer from Basqueland.

Bottle at Las Buenas Pulgas, served in a standard glass. Black color, medium head with short retention, irregular lacing. Aroma of varnish, bourbon, wood, dried fruits, green apples, cocoa and licorice. Medium to full body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Sweet finish. Taste follows the aroma. Again, great but aging will make it better.

De Labirratorium. En copa Teku. Estudia.do y jugando a Fortnite. Con queso de Codi. Agradable perfil madera y Bourbon. Se agradecerÃa algo mas de complejidad aparte de eso, pero en cualquier caso se bebe con facilidad y disfruta
