44 cL can, poured into a snifter in Toulouse, France. This is a collab between Spain’s Basqueland Brewing and 3 Sons Brewing, from Dania Beach, Florida.
Nose is maple syrup infused brownie batter, distinct vanilla, dark roast malt.
Flavor is oh-my-gosh! some damn good. Chocolate and maple ride across the tongue together, sweet sweet vanila cappuccino follows. The flavors continue to roll, coating the tongue with a dense pastry stout oil that resolves itself on to a fantastic hop nip and alcohol bite.
Mouthfeel is densely thick, nice low carbonation.
Overall, 3 Sons Brewing gave up a secret as to why American Stout is better than European Stout, overall, and Basqueland did a tremendous job of producing a one-off delicious and decadent brew.
