Poured from 440mL can into a tumbler. Best by June 2024.
Appearance: medium yellow hue with plenty of haze and a thick finger of pillowy white foam, which leaves a nice chunky lace on the glass while it dissipates.
Smell: slightly sweet malt aroma with a rather piney and herbal character. It's nice.
Taste: sweetish malt with a piney, citrusy hop character. There's a slight almost-sourness to the hops that I'm not in love with — this is something I've noticed in a lot of European-brewed American style IPAs. Not sure what it is, but I'm not the world's biggest fan of it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a really nicely integrated carbonation yielding a very smooth creaminess. Yum!
Overall: the slight out of place tanginess isn't great, but otherwise this is a pretty decent beer.
