This derby beer lived up to its reputation: an old rivalry turned into a beautiful game that has the ability to bring people together. High-hop showdown with a 50/50 Strata and Simcoe dry-hop. It has a rush of ripe citrus, strawberry, and bubblegum together with a smooth mouthfeel and a balanced bitterness for better drinkability.

Poured into a nonic Brooklyn Brewery glass.
A: Pours a beautiful lightly opaque yellow to orange color. Head is 1.5cm thick with amazing retention and lacing.
S: There's an aroma of sweet fruits much like strawberry, blackcurrant, and light woodiness.
T: Taste starts off with sweet tones from citrus, developing into a resinous touch of wood before leaving with a crisp malty flavour and hoppy tone that is neither too "green" nor to light.
M: Body is medium. Carbonation is great. Alcohol is unnoticed. Bitterness is medium.
O: For a beer that uses Strata and Simcoe (50/50), I was expecting a little bit more of fruitiness here. Still, quite interesting.
